The U.S. Census Bureau recently released population numbers for Aventura, Florida.
According to the report, Aventura has grown by more than 41 percent since 2000, from 25,267 to 35,762.

Here’s what else the U.S. Census Bureau recently discovered about Aventura, Florida based on the 2010 Census:
- The “Under 18” age group increased by 115 percent – from 2,564 in 2000 to 5,522 in 2010, reflecting an increase in the number of families.
- There are currently 26,210 housing units in Aventura, which is an increase of 6,100 or 30.47 percent from 2000.
What is it about Aventura that has caused it to grow so much since its incorporation in 1995? Plenty!
For one thing, Aventura provides residents with quality public education as well as miles of beautiful beaches along the Intracoastal Waterway. It is also home to one of the top producing malls in the country “Aventura Mall” and recently opened the waterfront Aventura Art’s and Cultural Center.
This 3.2 square mile community is also conveniently located between two major South Florida airports and right in between Fort Lauderdale and Miami.
